Default Favourite HOLDEN

OK guys we all love our Fords, but come on some Holdens did look the part, especially in the 70s, whats your favourite Holden, and come on we all know we have a soft spot for one model or another for the oppositions cars..oh by the way mine would have to be the HK 327 Monaro in blue. Sleek purposefull and had a decent engine, even though it still had hubcaps!

anyone that feels the need to bad mouth Holdens, knock Holdens or think they are smart because they hate Holdens or their drivers, can stay out of this thread.

Ageed, though I liked all the early 2 door monaros, just not the last 4 door ones even though most of 'em were built before I was even born.

A classic is a classic no matter the badge on the bonnet.

I like the HG to HK, came very close to buying a HK monaro 327 for about $3000 back in late 80's from a mate. Damn I wish I said yes!!!
Have a thing for EJ EH also, maybe cause my grandfather had some

there were a few that appealed, but i think my favourite was the Monaro LE. There was something about that car that used to really appeal to me.

is it ok to rubbish anything from the VB commodore on ? some of the old holdens werent bad i used to play with the hk ht hg series years ago ( please don't ban me )and raced an HG in stock saloons but early commies were too small and when they upsized enough ( the vN)they threw in that awful V6 . if i had to mention any at all i think it would be the HK to HG monaros

I would have to say the LE monaro coupe goes close, followed by the SLR 5000 , then the torana XU1, so many to choose from.

The 1998 'VT' Commodore Coupe concept. The Monaro did it no justice.

Oh and the starter of this thread should be banned!

If I could have an Indy Orange HG Monaro GTS 350 with a 4spd and houndstooth interior, I could die a happy man.

A9X, gotta be a coupe !
The Effigy is an all time favorite.

The VN Group A was great for it's time with the 6 speed manual and twin throttle body.
