Default Car sales and petrol

Hello fellows, im selling my XR8, I was thinking do I fill it with petrol or leave it empty???? I know every car ive ever brought has none in it. What do you guys expect/do?

............just enough to get to a petrol station. Both when I have sold or bought, I dont expect a full tank.

Leave it with 10-15L. Mine had about a 1/4 when I picked it up.

I put 1/2 tank in the AU when I sold it. Just enough to get the new owners on their way.

fill the tank and up the price an extra 100bucks or how ever much it costs to fill the tank so it appears that your such a generous person

sell it the same way as you last used it, every time i have brought a car if it's got over haft a tank "Bonus" but usually hope for at least quarter of a tank.

I wouldn't expect it to have more than 1/4 tank. I think in the current climate of high petrol prices most would understand that a used car would only have bugger all fuel in it.

When I sold my car, sold it with 1/4 tank. I believe thats the right thing to do.

I have never given it a thought when selling privately, but the last 2 that were traded I made sure I used up as much as I could prior to trade in
