Exclamation boy racers

here in nz its getting to the point that boy racers are becoming such aproblem, the gov are talking about bringing in laws to crush there cars huge fines and loss of licence to me this aint going to fix the problem.
kids will still find cars to drive and the licence well i think they will just drive anyway.but over here we have no where to even if they want to on a friday and sat nite at least go and pop a few burnouts and hoon a little in a designated area
now i see over in aus u guys have local burnout meets in most towns real regular do u think this has helped with some of these kids giving them an area to let loose has it helped with the daryel hoons of the city?

in NSW the "hoon" laws have already been brought in to crush peoples cars(for repeat offenders) although no cars have been crushed yet..

there will always no matter where be some idiot who decides to try and drag race in the middle of peak hour or do a squealie every now and then..

Other then more police and tougher and enforced penalties for street racing, hoonism and a law against Charades with cannons theres not much they can do about it - sure a few will actually go to the drag strip but there is only one in Sydney for example and usually hoonism things are spur of the moment compulsive things - not planned a week prior..

Half the attraction is doing it on the street and getting away with it, legal off street drags made no difference here because a) the people most likely to offend wont pay for the privilege to race and b) their cars' probably wont pass scrutineering...

C) It's quite depressing when a Hoons pride and joy VL with Walkinshaw kit only runs a mid 17, musch better to do it in the street without all that timing gear to debunk the freak motor myth.

mate I see young guys here in vns all the time with the burnout special steel rims under the back, yea they cruise around doing single wheelers at the site of a skirt, they fit neons and subwoofers and tint their windows as black as night, here the boy racers are just that, boys more interested in bling than zing, I mean spinners? and they think quite delusional that their car goes like stink and is faster than any Ford that has ever been made, and hence behave like total morons at the lights when beside a Ford. Don't get me started on the unzipped hoodie with nothing under it and the cap, don't forget the fact their pants might as well be round their knees they wear them that low. These boys are just that - boys, don't think the police can't spot them. Once the laws are introduced then it gives you as an enthusiast the opportunity to petition councils for a drag facility, and when you get one the enthusiasts will be off the streets and on the track.

On friday night i think it was, a bunch of boy racers were out doing burnouts in one of the usual spots and the cops turned up to put a stop to the antics and they surrounded the cop car, threw beer bottles at it and one person shot at the car with a bb gun!! :

Id say shiz is gonna hit the fan now for these fellas now.

holycow I think those boys better hide, and wait for the presence of 340937534895720347490478 police cars at that location next Friday night.
