Default 4.11 diff gears questions :P

thinking of putting 4.11 diff gears in my xr8 auto. what are peoples experiances here with 4.11s?
What are your revs at 110kmh and how many K's do you get to a tank on the highway
What colour speedo gear did you use when you got 4.11s
Did they make much difference
very interested in this mod and getting a hi stall

honestly, if you do alot of highway driving and are concerned about fuel costs, this isn't a good option for you. I only have 3.9's but the gains are brilliant, it also seems to use less fuel around town, but it does use around 15-20% more on the highway.

Yes but if you correct the speedo it will also correct the odometer. Jaycar sell an electronic speedo correction device, there isn't a speedo drivegear I'm aware of that will correct the speedo with 3.9's, 4.11's.

4.11's are probly not suitable for highway driving, probly better off with 3.7's or something around there.

If you have a flash tuner, you can modify your tune to accomodate the diff gears. Wherever you gt it tuned will do it for free.

How do people go with 4.11's behind a T5 manual?
