Hi all,
our 06 focus lx 5 speed is due to run out of warranty. What things have people found need fixing that I may not be aware of. The engine is quite a lot noisier than when new, just in general. The fans also are quite noisy. It has 75000kms on it. One thing I have never been happy with is the doughiness at low revs especially when doing hill starts. I find that you have to give it a lot more revs than you should to get it off the line cleanly. Even on the flat this is constantly annoying and often will stall or make the engine rattle quite loudly. I feel sorry for the engine mounts. |
