Default Put a V8 in your Focus for $45

This is a ****er!

A new product called SoundRacer. You plug it into your cigarette socket, and it picks up your rpms and gear changes to give you a V8 sound that matches your driving. They demonstrate their product in a Focus

funny you mention that.

Mercedes skunkworks Brabus, according to unique car mag, have done just that to the Tesla Roadster.

As for this thing, if it comes out as a free app for iPhone, i might just consider it just for laughs.
Having said that, the XR sounds ballsy enough as it is.

Does that come packaged with those 'results-proven' electric superchargers from eBay?

They had something like this on beyond 2000 decades ago that run off rpm load and throttle posistion and it sounded _perfect_ it have V8, Ferrari, F1 etc I think Lotus invented that one, it also had road noise cancelation

I'm not sure what car they tested it in but it was some little 4 cyl, that was decades ago so I can't remember what car. But I clearly remember being super impressed by that episode, the quality of that system was insane. I've even tried to find it on the net over the years. But I'm 100% Lotus made that one

I wonder why lotus did it? I doubt it was for their own cars.

I mean, the sound of a 20V 4AGE Toyota engine at about 9-10K sounds pretty good to me. Once you put the fact it's a toyota engine out of your mind that is.
