I have just got back from a TOP weekend in New Zealand where we stayed at the beach and pre 70's cars etc was the style ..
Trust me guys if your interested in beach, cars and girls .. This was the place to be..

That black & white HQ cop car looks unreal.....I remember back in NZ grey coloured HT/HG's as cop cars in the late 60's early 70's

YEP the local cop couldn't catch me in one of those 253 manual 3 speeds.. Lol...
I was driving a 2ltr Escort at the time with side drought Webbers..
Trouble is he knew who I was !!!
The U.S Trooper is still fitted with working radar etc too..
