Default New CD player in AU3 Ghia

Hi ,

I've had a search but I just wanted to ask is there anything extra I should need to know or look out for when installing a single DIN CD player and the pocket underneath in my AU3 ghia? Or any tips or tricks?

Also Can i run some RCA's from the new unit and swap the Amp out for a different one to run a sub? I know on my EL Ghia the amp ran the rear speakers and sub, but from what i can see in the Au it only runs the sub?

Cheers
Adam

No real tricks at all. If you plan to run the factory amp from an aftermarket head unit, plan to replace it at some stage as it won't last long at all.

Any really. Single din just requires a pocket, that's about it unless I'm missing something blatantly obvious?

Any and none. No aftermarket unit will plug in directly - with any of them you need to adapt the wiring to the factory loom. Easiest way to do that is with an Aerpro harness adapter (APP053 or AP1053). So with the right loom adapter, the answer is Any.
