Going a bit off topic here. Is a Vic unregistered vehicle permit ok to cover you coming back home through NSW?
I have thought about buying a few cars over time in Vic but its the wonder about getting it back over the border that has stopped me.

Should have rang an insurer and got a cover note, i do it everytime i buy another car, you ring your insurer, tell them your getting a new car and they take the details blah blah, and its covered there and then and you can pick up your new car with at least 3rd party!

All this carry on about about "should have got, I always do" cover note stuff is really irrevelant. The fact is, the poor bloke was very unlucky having the accident he did and no matter what is said about getting one has no bearing really.

I just hope the poor fella can make the necessary arrangements to cover this debt and most importantly he and his brother wasn't hurt. Wouldn't everyone agree
