Default Crash Test - Old School V New School

Saw this on another Forum and thought it might be interesting

How far has crash-worthiness progressed in 50 years? The Insurance Institute for Highway (IIHS) finds out, with the help of a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu and a '59 Chevy Bel Air.

its no surprise but it is interesting to actually see it proved. often you see the big old school cars (chargers, xr - xc, etc) and think they'd be pretty tough but they aren't designed to crumple.

whats even more amusing is reading the comments under the video. some people analyse things way too much.
