Default How much power to run mid - low 11

351ci
c10 std converter ATM
full spool bw diff with 4.11
in xf ute with Cal Traks
8 inch wide MT Slick
Looking for under 11.5 Qmile

How much power will i need?

450hp will do it if your car is set up well. Is it full weight? The less weight the less power you need. A forum member has a drag only XF Ute and that weighs about 3200lb with him in it and it runs around 11 flat at that weight N/A

Our Monaro weighs ~3950lbs and has run 12.09 @ 113mph.

Our Territory weighs ~5000lbs and has run 11.8@ 116mph.

Weight shifted horsepower calculates ~450hp for the Monaro and ~605hp for the Territory. Both of these are in line with the recorded dyno figures for both cars.

Our Monaro also has a small stally and street gears and probably weighs a lot more than your car.

With a bigger stally and 4.11s it potentially could run as low as 11.6.

i have 475hp my best is 10.97@121mph thats in a xy ute 90/10 in front standed rear
no tramp bars on 235 et radial 5200 stall c10 4.3 gears and i spin it to 7300.
