Default VIC car transfer to NSW

G'day Guys,

I'm looking at transferring a VIC car to NSW - car has full VIC rego, can the car be sold without the rego? I guess the VIC rego is worth about $1,000?

Where is the best place to get the REVs check etc?

Cheers

CoonUte

Default

1. Bring the car to NSW
2. Get a blue slip inspection and slip at any authorised mechanic
3. Arrange CTP insurance
4. Get the car registered in NSW and hand in the VIC plates at the RTA (in NSW)
5. Apply to Vic Roads for the Vic rego refund.

(Any car can be sold without rego, transport is then the issue)
