my point is....its an 8 hour drive... he'd obviously been driving for a while before it happened.... it makes no sense to my brain.... lol

i can understand sleeping overnight on a 20 hour drive..... etc an 8 hour drive really isnt that far... =/ |

At least his survived. i hit a crow between bombala and delegate NSW. it was DOA. i was more angry at the smashed grille on my AU than the poor bird's life.

I hit several galah's on trip to Adelaide a few years back. One hit my side mirror at 100 and pushed he mirror into the driver side window and the motor and mirror came out. Had to get a new mirror at nearly $200. I hope the bastard died a painful death.

I hit a bird just outside of Pory Hedland..when i got to Broome it was still in grille of RTV and alive! was in a bad way so put it out of its misery quickly
