Make them yourself. Most phones can be set to use music that is already on your phone.

If you have an android phone,,,the Zedge app..the Zedge app has 36,501 Wallpapers...527,549 Ringtones,..Notification Sounds...79,988. All free...

I assumed everyone now uses MP3's?

Heaps of MP3 sounds on the web.
I have a cow for my txt messages - I was expecting some info from the better half, and it came during a business meeting and without thinking said "That'll be my wife" - everyone laughed, then I realised what I had said. hmmm that would be an interesting idea for a thread - what crazy sounds do you have and when have they "gone off" inappropriately. |

Easiest just too google the song you want as a tone and put the format your phone is in after. Eg chicken_dance.m4r for iPhone.

On Android phones if you play the song you want as your ringtone, hit the Menu button and you can set it in there, and you are also able to trim the song down into a section so it only plays part of a song as your ringtone.

I downloaded a free app called 'MP3 music downloader'. Has a tonne of the latest songs you can download to your phone for free to use as you will. (Android phones)
Zedge is also another good free app which has song as well as notification tones etc.

Personally I do not like full songs as ringtones, I prefer a "grab" perhaps a chorus, etc.
I once had the theme to the great escape, but the intro was too long so I cut it back on my PC then used just the bit I wanted. |

With Android phones I think you can choose which portion of the song you want audible for your ring tone. Took all of 2 mins to setup. Well at least you could on my HTC Desire Z. Was pretty handy to have.

and here i am feeling pretty pov just recording on the mobile as a sound file and selecting it as my ringtone and sms tone.. bit crap quality sound but meh, i dont care -dont eve3n have anything starting with an "I" lol and i still use a VHS!!!!!! - lol - im still in the 90's!

Download em and put them on your phone as MP3's. Use music, sounds, ect and select as ringtone depending on your phone.
