$22990.00. 1k less than a swift sport.

The above is not quite correct. No rear discs, no HID lamps, 5 speed manual only, no CVT.

That is from a comparison chart with the Swift.

Great price, with only a limited number coming into the country they should go quickly.

Pity the 'new' WT fiesta looks cheap compared to the WS IMO. Interesting the pic in the article shows what looks like a WS? Reckon it will sell no worries though.

Edit- just noticed OP says WS, surely it isnt? Or am i mistaken

It's a pity it's taken 3 yrs to cone out from England. The zetec should have come with this tune from 2010.... Also a pity a standard Kia Rio still has 103kW....

It is indeed a WS, built in Germany. I thought the same when I read the DCB.

So is this old stock ie 2011 from the Uk?
What does shorter ratios mean?
What would this be revving at 110km/hr.

Exactly. The first dealer to do so will have at least 10 customers from here alone. Charge $500 a pop, nice tidy profit.

And no, Rios aren't cool: so they shouldn't be bloody faster than a Fez, no?

Still require the uprated exhaust and intake from the S1600 to get the full benefit of the tune. It's available from european parts. If you want to get a tune Bluefin have one that will get you those figures for about $300 on a standard car. But seriously fix the handling up in these which isn't bad from the factory and they're fun enough as is.

Put them both on a track and see which will have the slower time. I'm not knocking the Rio, the new one is a huge step, but I'm sure the Fiesta will kill it once corners come into account.

Too much anti Korea on here. I hate them as well but give the Rio a chance. As said it will probably not corner like it's on rails like the Fiesta. but 8.7 seconds out of a 1.6 isn't bad. 6 speed is over kill in a 1.6 though unless you do a lot of highway and like a low revving engine whilst doing so.

My new Swift Sport has a 6 speed box .. I find it very good for any highway use, it drops the revs down about 500rpm to run at 2600rpm @ 100km/h in 6th gear ... just makes for a bit more comfortable experience in these little high revving cars like Fiesta's/Swifts etc.

Now had this been about before I ordered my Titanium, I reckon I'd be pretty keen for one!!! Great move here IMHO, getting some of the classic WS models back.

Sounds good, .... sorry but Iv'e never driven, or even been in for that matter a new model WS/WT Fiesta ... I can only compare with my old XR4 which I owned from new for over 4 years, the XR4 used to rev a bit higher than the Swift Sport .. and it would seem from what you're saying, the new Fiesta's.

For the record, this new Fiesta Metal looks alright to me.

Not sure where the info is Copied and pasted from, however we don't get the HID lights....they are projectors, however not HID...

EDIT: data has been copied and pasted from the DCB, however a little poorly... The mix up with power and torque having double info and the HID's is based on the Suzuki Swift Sport... a table which shows where the Ford has the advantages over the Suzuki...

Is that the manual? My WS sits at around 3k or slightly above.
