A good choice and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. No real known issues that I've heard of - the odd MB was known to have weird electronic glitches but I've not heard of any for awhile so I'd guess they have sorted those.

Cheers
Russ

Excellent choice.
I've had my MC Zetec TDCi for a little over a year now.
Issues I've had are:

External temp gauge faulty - replaced.
Sony Stereo head faulty - replaced.
Buzzing driver side front tweeter.

Apart from the buzzing tweeters the other two issues are just my bad luck. Not seen anyone else with those problems.

Buzzing tweeters on the other hand seem to be an issue for some & not with others. Mainly seems to occur when listening to talk back AM radio (news) etc. Took a long country drive yesterday with the USB stick providing music & couldn't fault it.
Am considering upgrading the speakers as according to UK talkford forum the OEM units are pretty cheap paper cone ones.

Even with those issues I consider this a great car & I just love driving it.

Also be wary of a bit of lag particularly on round abouts. I tend to change into manual mode for these which gives me a better response when accelerating.
