Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum, I wasn't sure where to post it.
As I'll be moving interstate to NSW in the next coming months, that means I'll be eligible to progress from a Learner to a P1 license in NSW. I was just wondering what are the complications with this? Are there rules that I'd have to do a certain amount of extra hours (Already done the 120 & 20 night driving) to get a P1 license? Or can I just change my learners over to NSW and take a P1 test the next day? I was going to call up the RTA & ask them, but as they're closed the next few days I'd figure I'd ask here first & maybe save the hassle of trying to get a straight answer out of them. |

Where are you moving from? Likely the best plan will to get your provisional licence in your current state, then get a P1 in NSW when you get here. Then there's no question that you are not a learner, according to the different state rules.

As I'm not 18 yet, getting my P's here then moving to NSW wouldn't be an option |
