Hi guys,
Had these wheels for a while now and i'm debating whether or not to sell them. I'm hoping someone can tell me what they are, I've been told they are an old school aftermarket period wheel but none seems to know what they are called. They're a two piece wheel and have nothing stamped on them Thanks in advance |

I have been around Mk1 Cortinas for quite a while and have no seen these wheels before. You say that they do not have anything stamped on them ? Not even the Rim size i.e 6x13jj ? I note that the centre caps appear to say Performance is that correct?? If so they may have been made by that company. If not, it appears the centres are alloy and the outers are chrome plated steel. In the early days one of the ways to get wider wheels was to have your centres inserted into a suitable outer rim.
The centres are the unique bit maybe they are not local but English ? Even from an Escort or Racing car!! Good luck I hope this information helps |

They look to me like something off an old open wheeler, like formula ford or something

Either historic FF or one of the many 60s classes that used the Kent engines.
