Just wondering if any has used a Nokia lumia 920 in a mondeo with the convers+ system? Does everything work correctly (Bluetooth, voice commands etc) or are there issues? The ford website suggests most things should work but thought I'd get an actual users experience with it

Hi,
I have a Lumia 920 and have had no problems with the basic functions on my Xr5's converse+ setup The phone pairs easily and the phonebook uploads. Voice dialing of specific numbers works OK (eg "dial number 123456") but I haven'd had any luck with getting it to voice dial names from the phone's contacts list I have the older bluetooth module so i can't say how the audio streaming goes. Probably for the same reason it won't read out incoming text messages. The text message functionality is is a bit hit and miss. It works in our fleet Aurion but not in the newer Camry (go figure!) Ringtones don't transfer to the speakers but you still get an incoming call tone and the caller name or number shows in the display. All the phone control buttons on the indicator stalk and head unit seem to work OK Hope this helps! |

For calling contacts from the cars Voice controls try saying "mobile name". This should initiate the phones built in voice controls and from there you can just "call contact on mobile" or what ever your phone likes.

I have an 820, all works fine except the SMS messages to voice only works sometimes.
I'm waiting on a new Lumia 925 later this month |
