Hi there
My daughter's 1998 Laser is giving her problems. By the sound of it the clutch is slipping which would probably mean it's worn out. She is between jobs at the moment and I thought with some guidance I might be able to replace the clutch assembly myself. I'm reasonable with tools and have a fair tool assortment, my only worry is never having replaced a clutch on this type of vehicle (as in front wheel drive). My experience is with rear wheel drive cars where it's easy to remove the gearbox. Can anyone help? A guide or somewhere I can get a manual to decide if it's easy or hard for me? Cheers |
