hey guys, looking at getting an NL concorde steering wheel to put in my series II forte... I heard there was some sort of plug that was different? Is this right? Or can I use this wheel in my AU with the airbag from my AU?

It will fit straight in,just use your airbag and steering buttons
|

hmmm ok I was doing some research and after posting this i found that the au airbag switch is different to that of the ef/el? I think that's what I found out anyway or am I wrong? really don't want to mess around with the airbag to much

The actual wheel itself doesn't have any wiring hanging off it. As the other fella above said, use your existing AU airbag and steering controls and you will be fine, it all bolts to the same spots/uses the same bolts.

Our Futura has an ELGT.... I think? Wheel in it. Black and woodgrain, fits perfectly.

Yep. I've got an EL GT wheel in my AU. I'm just using my AU airbag, and controls and it looks great!

Yes. The EF-AU use the same actual wheel. It is only the airbag that changed (and it will sit flush), and the AU swapped the left hand side cruise On/Off buttons for the stereo control buttons. It is a straight swap as many have said before.
