i dunno about the breathing bit, but if you have ever seen a cough or a sneeze filmed by a good camera in slow mo, i have, i would be very surprised if if you could not catch a bit moisture from someone that breathes heavily on you.
a bit of trivia i remember from a doco ages ago, air travels at 800 mph through your airways when you sneeze, true or false?
that was the figure given, moisture droplets are so fine from the sneeze they are in suspension in the air.
me personally , i would be somewhat worried being around someone with ebola even if they didnt have symptoms.
