Shutup. I can't afford another toy.

Although this could be a daily... Even claim some of it back through tax somehow as advertising for work purposes... Even salary sacrifice it through work...

Ugh.

Right now you can't, but what about in 2 years when we actually have some floor stock, that's my plan

Race Red GT, Black OTT Stripe package, and maybe the black painted roof thanks.

That'll do me nicely.

It will be interesting to see how long the 1500 have to wait to get their car???? If Ford were smart..they would make sure its within 6 months...

MY16 build starts 3-August and we don't know when Aussie cars will be assembled despite knowing Flat Rock has capacity for 400,000 cars per annum so our 1500 shouldn't be a capacity problem, more a programming one with other build requests... March 15 sales of Mustang in US was 12000 cars for a comparison so we are small fish in a large ocean...

They'll probably do RHD ones in one big batch, that way to limit production line disruption.

Our first allocation is in the MY15 build, everything after first allocation is to be MY16 models. They have stated that if the car is in the first allocation it will be between December and February, allow some time for possible transport issues and everyone in this lot (should) will be in a car before April.

Flat Rock is only running 2 shifts, if they are really desperate for cars they have the option of going to a 3rd. It may happen.

The days of batch building are over. Just in time see's no need for it, as the required parts are sent to the assembly line on conveyors in sequence. No different to just about any plant in the world. Broadmeadows is no different, you will see a diesel Territory followed by an XR8, followed by an LPi ute. Creates no dramas.
