I did read that after I posted that comment. After looking at the picture in the opening post I thought the top of the B pillar looks like a clean cut and the sill panel looks as though it has been cut both sides of the seat belt anchor point.

And not only that , they only have to pass the crash test to x amount of speed ...... after that speed your on a wing and a prayer.
