While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Just called EGR and they couldn't even tell me - but I suspect they didn't manufacture them after speaking with the guy.

Mine is fibreglass with felt under the lid - the one's they made for Ford had the support ribbing under and no felt.

I think i'm going to need 2 bathroom scales and a mate to work this on out accurately.

"theBlake" you around to give me a hand?

Just go to your local dump? Tell them you'll be back in 5-10 mins and weigh it again after. Might cost you a six pack?
