Default MD Diesel Shudder during Acceleration

Hi all,
I am at wits end a little.
About a Month ago my MD Diesel Ambiente [Aug 2015 built, 130000 km], started getting a severe Shudder and Vibration during Acceleration. It usually starts at 80km/h entering and accelerating like going onto a Freeway, Over Taking or going uphill, the Shudder stops as soon as I lift my Foot off the Fast Pedal. It is not confined to the Steering Wheel, but it goes through the whole Car.
The Car was at Ford and all Engine and Transmission Mounts were checked and found to be OK, the Car is being serviced at Ford all the Time. The Dealer took it to a Tyre Specialist as they suspected a Tyre Fault, unbalanced Wheels or Misalignment. All was "adjusted" to correct Spec, but as soon as I picked up the Car and drove up Lapstone Hill [ Blue Mountains ], the Shudder was back, all that changed was, that it now starts to shudder at around 90km/h.WooHoo!
It happens in D and S, warm or cold makes no Difference.
As they Car has high k's and is less than 2 Years old, the Dealer is at a Loss too as there wouldn't be too many young High Km Cars around with possible similar Problems, that would only surface with "normal" Drivers after Years of Motoring.
Any thought would be appreciated
thanks

Has the transmission been serviced at both 60 and 120K points?

Does it do it in manual mode? if it starts at 80Km/h then maybe work way up to 3rd, hold it in 3rd, get to 80 and see if it still does, then shift to 4th and so on up to 6th and see if it does it in each gear at 80 or if the speed changes in each gear..

My MD diesel did something like this the other morning. Drove to work 40 kms and parked ran in picked up something went out and drove out and the car lost all drive for a few seconds and free revved then there was a loud bang and it clicked back into gear with a bid shudder
. It was in s mode. Hasn't done it since. Its a 6/16 model with 29,000kms. It goes in next week for its 30k service so I will mention it.

That's not a high mileage for a diesel Mondeo! I don't think the diesel drivetrain changed much between the MC and MD. Dealers ...

Hopefully someone here will be able to help. Have you looked at the TalkFord forum in the UK?

< All was "adjusted" to correct Spec,>

There is no correct spec, just a nominal setting and quite a large range of tolerance.

< all that changed was, that it now starts to shudder at around 90km/h>

Getting warmer then?

Which way was it adjusted if at all?

Computer wheel alignments are not done with the front wheels pulling 1500kg.

Increasing toe in from a 'correct setting' fixed my problem with uneven tyre wear. I just gave it a quarter turn each side a few years ago and all has been well since, no wheel alignments. Yours might be the other way round though.

From the Ford manual.

Shudder vibration during acceleration:

Excessively high CV joint operating angles caused by incorrect ride height.
Excessively worn or damaged inboard front wheel driveshaft joint or outboard front wheel driveshaft joint.

I tried it out today and the shudder is constant regardless what Gear is selected and held. BUT only under Acceleration, once you lift the Foot and let the Car coast, the Shudder is gone

yeah I'd be looking into the CV's and engine mounts in this case too.

Has any repair work at all been done on the vehicle apart from normal servicing? Wheels/tyres, something that could have caused a change in the vehicle or did it just start out of the blue?

no Repair Work has been done, it did start slowly a Day after I had to make an Emergency Stop [someone Id.ot cut me off]. Hazard Lights came on [as they should ]to indicate the Severity of the Stop

UPDATE
I went back to Ford last Friday to book the Car in again.
Went back today and dropped it off as it got worse. Now there is a Mechanical clicking and Banging Sound as soon as I accelerate, it feels very "loose" and not connected from the Front End.
Mechanic came out with me for Test Drive and suspects CV Joints or Drive Shaft.
They have the car now for at least a few Days.
Kudos to Sinclair Ford Kingswood for finding me a Loan car with no Notice

I will update as soon as I know more

UPDATE on the Update

Ford told me on Friday that it is the Drive Shaft and the part is on Back Order...
lets see how long it takes before it arrives, at least I have the Loan Car Focus for Use.

Out of Curiosity, I asked the Cost if it was a Private and not a Lease Car and Ford said, @$1000 fitted.

Got the Car back this Arvo, the difference in the way it drives is remarkable, I suppose it should be with a new Drive Shaft.
So, Happy Motoring again
