So do they expect fuel companies to install hydrogen fuel infastructure, to supply the handful of cars they would probably sell?

Given that, why didn't they pitch hybrid/petrol or PHEV then electric? Infrastructure for electric is being built, petrol exists now.
I suspect you guys are right. Time to go and sing the old Swan lager ad, "They said you'd never make it..."

If it ain't electric...don't bother...Ford and Holden knew it but didn't want to invest in Australian manufacturing to achieve it.......fail
