Default 2021 focus st-3 missing tpms

Just wondering if anybody is aware why the st-3 edition of the 2021 does not contain any tire pressure monitoring. Had a recent tire blowout at 110kmh and was lucky to pull up without any further damage.

This feature seems to have been included in all models previous and since.

Thanks for any advice.

Default Re: 2021 focus st-3 missing tpms

The ST3 certainly had them in other markets and there are kits readily available (~$90) to retro fit them where they are not fitted so the BCM is obviously capable. I can't definitively say whether they did have them for all models but the on-line owners manual says they were certainly fitted to some models so perhaps check your book.
TPMS aren't going to be much use for a blowout unless it was caused by a slow leak rather than catastrophic damage.
