Hi guys, can anyone advise what the torque should be for tightening the rear axle Pac Nut ?
I need to replace my RHS rear bearing. Excellent description on how to do it in one of the Tech articles here. Only info not provided are the torque specs. All the other bolts I can do by "feel" - years of experience screwing stuff up. The Pac Nut would need to be tensioned correctly. If anyone has a manual for this could you please advise. Assistance much appreciated. Ta. Muzza

if the PAC nut is the rear wheel hub nut on the IRS, it should be torqued to 325nm

Thanks for that guys. I can now tackle the job....
BTW Have only done 90K and both wheel bearings need replacing. Why is that ? Could be a combination of a sealed bearings and my habit of going very swiftly around corners (this car is a thing of beauty - handles like it's on rails) ?? Anyone else had issues with rear bearings ? Also, they are $140 each from Ford but CBC sells them for $40.... friendly tip for anyone buying these.
