Default tranny problem

changing from first to second when warmed up the, second half of the change slams in with a bang on my AU III xr6. This started to happen after having a tranny service done I took it to another tranny joint and they changed the pressure soliniod and it has started to happen a week later again around mid accelation. any ideas would be great
cheers.

It does sound like a pressure solenoid problem again , but i'de be maybe looking more towards what is causing the pressure solenoid to crap out. You mentioned it happened after the first service you got , i would be wondering (at the first service) if they refilled the tranny with a wrong fluid or topped it up with a different uncompatible fluid maybe .. ? , gl

tranny problem , had me thinking you were having other issues ; rather than your gearbox.

presuming your talking about an auto ?

it is also possible that its due to low fluid level...although this usually happens more before the tranny warms up, but it depends if they topped it up again after taking it for a drive and having the fluid pump around inside the box, dropping the level
