Cleaning the memory card out of the camera as I type ... might be a fraction early ... and the ute might see a carwash prior as well.

Hi All,

What a top day it was!!!! I was absolutely stoked to see such a turnout on a cruise. We had near on 40 cars out on the run today!!!

X Series (oh that 393 was a beast), E-Series, A-Series, B's and the euro's.
A big thank you to all who came from a far to the cruise, you Newcastle fellas were keen!!

It was a ripper cruise with a great bunch of people. Watching the "laps" at bathurst was one of the funniest sessions I had seen in ages, the skate boarder... It was most certainly a good drive out and back too

Adam, it was great to finally meet you and thank you for organising lunch.

I have to admit that the Renault certainly gave it's share of curry, but still couldn't quite real me in... I don't think there was any complaints about the back roads either
Some people had smiles on their faces that spanner their ears... : : :evil3:

Thank you all for a ripper day and looking forward to the next one.

Cheers

It was a great run. Thanks Bluehoon for leading the cruise. The backroad between lithgow and bathurst was awesome... it'd be perfect if the surfaces were all smooth.

The highlight gotta be checking out the cars flying past at the top of the mountain.

That was by far the BEST cruise I've been on!!! A HUGE thanks to Blueprint for letting the pub know that we were coming, all thought 50 ppl is a little more then they were expecting!

personally i think the next one should be PUTTY RD!!!!!! sooner rather then later as well

So what you are asking is if you have an automatic licence even if it is upgraded to manual automatically can it be upgraded manually by sitting for a manual test and if passed the automatic licence is automatically upgraded but if failed is the automaic licence automatically failed as well and do you have to read the road safety manual to sit for the manual upgrade or does the automatic licence test of the road safety manual automatically cover the manual test as well?

No problems... The owner was rather over joyed with us... he has sent out an open invite for the forum, for future cruises, as he was very impressed with everyone who attended.

Ok PUP, add me to messenger and tell me more about Putty Road... :P

You have to be the best 'guide,' I've ever followed on a cruise where I don't know the road! :eclipsee_

Cruise was top stuff... can't wait for another!

Hi All,

Putty Road- you sure you guys are up for it? That's the mother of all cruises... I know a good one down south, and a good north one and we can shelve puty for a few months...?

Adam - where are all these pics n vids mate??

Henri - agreed. I totally understand. I am glad in the end everyone made it there and for such a massive (and awesome) cruise it is near impossible to track everyone, nor keep as a group. This is why I kept the two way and handed out my mob no:.. And was on them most of the morning..
Going through Lithgow I was hoping we could maintain sight.
I hope next time we can work better on keeping everyone together.

Steffo - thank you for your comments. Was that you in the Renault???????? Far out - mate we never met!

Cheers

yeah i had the two way going, but it doesnt have the range as some of the better units. and when moving with traffic, its not always convenient or fast enough to ring.

anyway, such is life lol we all made it and had fun at the top.

I soon to be upgrading likely to a late AU or B-Series in coming months.

I too do have plenty of pics, but my computer is dead at the moment, I think the CPU cooked itself... Or something. Anyway, once its back ill upload and share about ;)

Great day, Great to catch up with those i havnt seen for a while.
