I picked up 2 cars yesterday, a 1990 series holden commodore and a 2000 series holden commodore.

Picked up a few more cars today and through out the past week.

Today I managed to score a T Hunt 69 mustang and bought a classic carlectable replica of the Bathurst 08 winning 888 BF Falcon.

i got that beetle.. gave it to my son to play with lol

i now have all 3 62 mustang concepts white yellow and red.

i also picked up a Ford Focus RS in green. looks awesome

ill throw some pics up later.

im keen for any more of those commodores if anyone finds them

I have a few more coming in the mail, they were all bought off ebay including some matchbox commodores and falcons.

Call it dumb luck but I just went grocery shopping and picked up a 2nd T-Hunt 69 mustang lol.

the rs focus is hard to find,i looked for 2 months then all of sudden i find 2 right next to 1 another,its very addictive hobby,i only buy the 1's i like the look of,regardless of make or model,collecting all of them is way to much work,but then i guess it keeps you out of trouble,lol

i buy the ones i like (like the ones with logos on them K&N mothers etc) and apart from that a few rare models like the old skylines and every mustang i can get. i have some doubles but i may open them up one day so i can play broom brooms when im old and senile lol

OMG OMG Knight Rider Pontiac? HELL YEAH!!! BTTF Delorean will be cool as well.

Half decent lineup for 2011 cars. Definitely keen to try get out there more, might have to make use of the days off during the week to scour stores now that I only get every second weekend off.

Some people just always tend to be in the right place at the right time to get all the good ones though, I've not once seen a treasure hunt or an XB on the shelves, had to get mine through other means, would love to be able to get them straight off the shelf, especially considering if the Back To The Future Delorean is going to be as difficult to find and get as the Ecto was.

May those who buy the cars PURELY to eBay them rot in the fires! Fair enough if you're a genuine collector and want to sell a few off, but people who go to the shops, buy them just to eBay - you're like ticket scalpers :(

1st post in this thread, like a lot of people only collect Treasure Hunts from 2004 to 2010 I have full sets with many doubles.

I just drove past a DeLorean down the end of my street on the way back from the shops. Those DeLoreans are awesome. Have a couple in my hotwheels collection too. And whilst at the shops I picked up #04 Ford Mustang Fastback and a #43 Custom '10 Camaro...I like the Camaro because its got that Pro Stock look to it.

I've never managed to come across a Treasure Hunt yet Spoolman. I've searched tho....flicking thru the cards on the rack with half of them falling onto the other toys below!!

im in the same boat.. my brother found me 1 xb in target the other 6 i bought from the US on ebay. but i bought them for me. i thought id re-sell them but i cant do it lol

its like that guy who posted on here who repaints them and flogs them on ebay. he has about 10-20 listings from yellow and blue base models and here is us cant find one. they obviously have someone on the inside who searches new stock for them... no one can find 30-40 on the shelves each month.. that seems to be how many are repainted and re-sold on ebay each month

That guy lives around my way... When i asked a shop attendant about whether they had any new XB's coming onto the shelves , she said yeah but they are being kept aside for a guy who collects them for kids..and they weren't to put them out on the shelves !

I got the same reply from a few different shops in the area.... seemed a bit more than a co-incidence and a bit unfair to the average punter who doesn't wanna have to pay 20 odd bucks for one on ebay ......

I buy them online normally from the States, try and buy a few cars together keep shipping costs down..

New for 2011 in the garage series is a XB Falcon in red(of course they are selling for crazy prices like the first editions) , I suspected as much when they brought out the premier edition and I wouldnt be suprised if they do a mad max interceptor in the next couple of years also .
They have done a few movie cars like ecto 1 of ghostbusters and 2011 aparently will have back to the future time machine so I think an interceptor wouldnt be a crazy proposition.
