Tandem trailer from a front yard today, Mornington Peninsula area of Victoria, it is a tandem made by Tilta Trailer in QLD so there wouldn't be too many in Victoria, rego 718 QYG. It has a stone guard at the front like the one in the picture, hand winch, tool box and a spare wheel on each side.

No such thing as i45 diesel. Are you talking about the i40? The i45 (Sonata) was petrol only. The i40 (the smaller European styled sedan/wagon) came with both petrol and diesel.

It sucks but, "I made it easier for them by leaving the keys in the ignition".

Geez, just why?

Who knows..... I think whoever wanted it, it would'nt make a shred of difference if the keys were in it or not... I really feel for the guy tho, the news story said he owned it since new. I really hope he finds it in one piece.

Poor guy. That car was half his life, he's probably had 5 dogs die over that period. Bust's his %$# all his life for this. This crap puts people in early graves...and he blames himself? I wish I was loaded, I'd put out a reward that even a close friend of the person that pinched it couldn't refuse.

Edit. Look at the comment below the article........

Heard on the radio the other day that Cairns or Townsville most car thefts in state followed by Ipswich. Most done by young offenders of about 13 years old.Hijackings in the cities! An old bloke got pulled out of his car by a couple a teens!Very Scary. They should bring in a law that these offenders should be banned from driving for their entire life. Also made to pay compensation to the victim.Put a chip in 'em like a wild animal so authorities can track 'em down!

Stolen today from a yard where i park my truck , by a white unmarked tilt tray of unknown brand approx 8 - 10am from Pine Ridge Rd Labrador Gold Coast Queensland.

Has a Barra I6 with lot's of modified parts that are easily identified, a rather expensive BTR trans fitted with Convertor shop stall and unique build code stamped into it / NX Nitrous kit and Custom tailshaft fitted...

It was set up ready to go to Willowbank for the T&T tonight, but was taken this morning and has obviously been observed over the last several weeks as i have not posted anything about this car on line anywhere or what my plans were for tonight !!

Any info regarding this vehicle please phone Crimestopper's on 1800 333 000

My house was burgled a month ago with numerous parts stolen from my premises which i have not mentioned online and i was obviously followed early one morning to work for it to have been stolen from where i was working on it.

I am offering a reward of $1000 if i get it back complete...

Thanks.

Darren

Hope you find the bastards mate, obviously someone that knew what was in it, keep a close eye on the obvious places, ebay, gumtree etc, possibly someone from the drags so keep an eye out for parts there also, good luck!

That's up my way.
Sounds like they were ready and knew what they wanted.

Wouldn't go to all that trouble to just load up an AU that looks fairly standard from the outside. They knew what was in the heart of that car.

Best of luck will keep an eye out.

STOLEN 4th JULY 2015
&
STILL MISSING 18th JULY 2016

2001 Green Toyota Hilux 4x4 Tub Ute
VIC REGO 1DV-1RW

Stolen from Epping Plaza Underground Carpark on 4th July 2015 around 10am, Victoria
If you have any info please contact the police or myself.

All we want is some answers as the car is most likely chopped up, parted out and in a scrap yard somewhere!

Possible REWARD if it's still in ONE PIECE & Returned to us!

Hate the fact that this is still Missing... If ANYONE has any information PLEASE let us know! The car was stolen at the worst possible moment!

It had about $15k worth of tools, $3k of almost brand new or near brand new children's items (We have a 4 year old little girl and when this was stolen I was in hospital about to give birth to our second child)
Business Paperwork
My Partners Wallet
Also some Priceless Items that wouldn't be worth anything to anyone else!!!

As our insurance ONLY covered the car we are out of pocket $15k+ and are still trying to replace the tools and Baby/Children's Items that were stolen!!!

This has also emotionally and mentally scared my now 5 year old little girl and now every time she see's a Green Hilux she asks if it's ours!

This isn't exactly stolen (mods please delete if non appropriate)

I live in Mitcham, VIC, and last week a group of young guys broke into about 8 cars in our street and surrounding street, including mine. I woke up in the morning and found my side window smashes and door open. I had nothing in the car worth stealing apart from a few iphone cables and a babyseat so overall it's not a big deal for me. But when the cops came, I found them a bit blasé about it all. They mentioned that they same group did the same thing in Balwyn a few nights previously.

Has this happened to anyone here? My car was in my driveway and I'm trying to think of ways that I can deter thieves from doing it again. Has anyone installed cctv cameras in their house? Worth it? Or what about sensor triggered flood lights?

They steal the CCTV house cameras too. Has happened to a family member twice in two weeks! With hoodies and masks, I don't think cameras will do much otherwise. Maybe a sensor-operated super-strong floodlight system which turns night into day would help deter someone, but would pee off the neighbours.

Everyone please keep a look out for this car! Was stolen evening of 30th August (Tuesday) from Rockingham Area. It's a very rare car 2 door 1966 XR GT Coupe in GT Gold. Plates are XR JG 66. We believe it was taken on either a car trailer or flat bed truck, but could have been driven.

Might help if you gave a clue as to where it was stolen from.
