In a blackspot basically, only option for the net is to use the resorts wireless (I live in a resort so cant have a dedicated phone line)....only costs $30 a month for unlimited downloads...but geez...think I can download anything? Nope.

the upload speed of 0.49Mb/s, is always the same when i do the test(Optus have designed it that way?), but my downloads can vary anywhere between 14-19Mb/s

Thanks Internode for upgrading my old 1500k connection to a full speed ADSL1 connection. Now syncing at the full 8Mb/s! Loving the faster downloads, but I'm more looking forward to the possibility of ADSL2+ speeds towards the end of the year when the Gawler to Renmark back bone roll out is complete and providers start putting their equipment in to our local exchange!
