We just filled pretty much all the remaining FPVs we have left. Yes the -Final builds. So I can say we have sold out. We still don't know much about it but people are taking the punt!

There is no possible about it, the traction control system is a full generational leap ahead of MK1.

Why? when it's so good that it hardly intervenes and when it does it doesn't really slow you down anyway... It doesn't just pull the plug and throw you into the windscreen like someone pulling the ignition key out like mk1. And I drive pretty hard, fastest and win the cap at FPV drive days too

Thanks mate, I've got mine anyway. Glad to see the engine with S/C is continuing to at least one more model (XR8), Brembos or not. At least there is still a platform there for insane mods. BTW....believe it or not, I like to be optimistic.

^^ Doesn't matter either way mate. The way Ford charge for Brembo's its probably better the XR8 doesn'tt;t have them and then you can get them fitted here.

I was wondering if anyone in the fpv loop could give myself and others some insight. For the past few weeks I have been calling various dealers in vic, all with different opinions with availability of gs utes. Most are suggesting that the end of Easter will give a better indication.

Now, all are saying come on down and give us a deposit and we will see if we can find one (some dealerships have expressed some doubt) and that there will be a better chance of getting a special edition in July.

My issue is that they can't even supply me with the most basic of details; available colours, options, and most importantly not even an indication on pricing. Understandably I'm not all that keen on putting money down on something so unknown.

You are being told the truth. You will most likely have to buy a special edition if you want one of the last GS utes. You've pretty much missed the boat on a non special edition GS ute.

No idea as of yet. This month dealers will know I'm sure of it. I'd suggest putting your name down for your local dealer to give you a call as soon as they know.

Nothing has been released on what the final run of FPV will be. Hopefully we know something this month.
