can't wait to see what mechanical changes have been made to it and what other goodies it gets wonder if the weight did increase by much at all.

very interested to see what the orion falcon will be like.

The Camry/Aurion maybe a dark horse this year..245kw AWD sportivo may win a few people from the Ford/Holden camps.

Im liking the SS at the moment, looks very bulky thou, hard to explain, very chunky.

The front of the car looks very skylineish from the front. Or am i the only one seeing that

yes i see skyline in the front of that pic too.

From certain angles (and i'm afraid it's most angles so far), this car looks terrible, especially the LWB model.

I'm sure it's the photography as in other photos it does look better than this.

I must admit in this picture it looks good.
It has the angle of a 2 door, I like the bigger guards. The top view photo doesn't give it a good look but I think this photo gives it a nice stance.

I think there is plenty of room to move with this shape and this will result in some nice looking cars on the road.

Something like the SS, 20" Chrome Wheels, 6.0Ltr V8, 6 Speed Manual, Big Brakes, and in a nice Metalic Colour would look nice. It hurts to say that.

Bring on the new Ford spy shots.

Wing is way over the top, looks very RICE, like they picked it up from Kmart.

The B-pillar looks very Camry like, and the front is very plain jane.

Overall, i'm not very impressed. It will be interesting to see what the Engine specs are though.

Chunky, Boring and but no dount, they will still sell 3000+ a month

Love live Ford!

cant wait for a roadtest between it and the BF falcon. they always said the VY/VZ felt like they were 1 generation behind the BA/BF, and as we know looks are only surface, will be interesting to see how it goes

And to add insult to injury the rear has alot of 380 about it IMO.

Holdens exterior design department is lacking some balls isn't? That makes the AU look alot more exciting!

Are Australians that conservative?

I can assure you from what ive seen so far the next all new falcon poops on that from a great height. The VE doesn't look different enough to the VZ for "all new".

agreed, the VE looks too conservative, does not look modern at all, still has the same look as a VY/VZ which currently look very dated.
those wheel arch flares just look wired too

I was reserving my opinion till after the covers were revealed, and now they have, I can't say I like it. Looks like they took a VZ and deformed it a heap. The front overhang is too short compared to the rear overhang, the spoiler looks weird, and I'm not a fan of those taillights. It's also fairly slab-sided which make the wheels look smaller than what they are. Maybe the official photos will make it look better, but in those photos it is awful.

If it drive like a gem then it will be an awesome car, but I don't love the look, its not ugly, just not very original and wouldn't make me feel special. I felt special when the BA XR6 came out, nothing looked like that before and it was a great package (fast, comfy, more reliable etc).

Looks like a toy to me, I'm sure it will look much better at ground level.

I know what you're saying mate.

I mean IMO the VY/VZ looked outdated to, but this isn't ugly, actually looks quite good, it just looks about 10 years older then alot of new cars today.

I personally think the VT/VX had a more modern shape. (For their time anyway)

From side on it looks incredibly like a Camry Sportivo (in my opinion)

I think I mainly get that feel from the doors though...

you obviously haven't looked at a Camry in a bbillion years cause they look nothing alike - besides the similar style of door handels

Yeah Im seeing the same thing! The front wheels look smaller in diameter than the front.... I dont mind the look of it although to me it looks like the nose is a little short which makes its *** look big

I wouldn't be so sure. At first glance I thought 'Camry' - and after looking at the photos, I can see where everyone is saying it looks like one with a different front end... I'm not saying it's exact, but at first glances, I kept thinking Camry...

Someone commented on the Body making the wheels look small on the VE.... Check out the Camry Sportivo, classic example, the rear wheels look tiny!
