Mum was born in England, her father was born in Canada, the family name traces back to Ireland.

I was born here, mum is half Austrian and Polish, dad is Hungarian, But both lived in former Yugoslavia,
turns out on my fathers side, he is a descendant of genghis khan, or how ever you spell it! |

Well nice thread indeed. Im an Aboriginal man and I work for my community here in Melbourne . My ancestors go bact to Watchabalok Country near Dimboola on my great grandfathers side and to Lake Mungo in NSW Narri Narri Tribe on my Great Grandmothers side Im nearly 53 years of age im black and im proud of it! Im sure there are others on this site and i have a great love for ford motor vehicles. Cheers Tony XR8

Hi TonyXR8, i have heard of the Narri Narri tribe, i decended from the Wiradjuri tribe from central NSW, i have only really started reading about my heritage, and its very interesting i must say.

5th generation Aussie.
Beyond that a bit of a mix, with ancestry back to the battle of hastings in 1066. Once you start to look into the different names (great grandparents, etc) it get complicated.

Mt Family Trace is Weird ;
My Dads side of the Family is 100% Irish back as far as we could look , him and his Father were the only 2 to come to Australia , When he Met my Mum , Whom has a Scottish Family Tree , Our Family in Ireland has Ownd 7% of their Own Land since 1620

French, Iranian, Spanish and Torres Strait Islands. On the Spanish side, apparently they were pirates in the 1700s or something...
My partner's Mum is from Ireland and his Dad is from Jordan (both been in Aus for about 25 years). So our son Toby is a real mixture.
