Here is a list of Dave's favourite tunes that he complied and shared with his mates. If you are of Dave's vintage there are probably a few in there that you will enjoy

A true gem, cast from old school and latter day bad shirts.

Godspeed and happy travels on the next adventure mate.

Hugs all round.

I didn't know him and from all previous accounts was a great bloke.

Being thanked 50,565 times across almost 7,000 posts certainty confirms his passing will be a great loss to many.

RIP Dave.

A legend lost but will never be forgotten. A true gentleman with a kind heart, but also stood up for what he believed in.
He was mate and good for a laugh, will truely be missed

Give them hell on the other side mate

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

I can’t agree more mate. I didn’t know him that well either but we chatted via PM a few times. Even though he was crook he still cared about others and was passionate about this forum and its members. The world needs more people of this calibre, he will be missed.

Unfortunately never met him, but read most (if not all) of his posts. His cooking tips and his play lists will be missed.

Our good mate Dave will be cremated in a private session as per family traditions. He will be laid to rest near his parents at the Albion Park Cemetery. There will be a small celebration of life amongst close friends and family the day after.
The comments in this thread are a true reflection of the way Dave lived his life, both through this forum and in he’s daily life. They really broke the mould with this one.

He’s much loved XF falcon will live on through his daughters
