Trump is popular because people are sick of the same fake and paid for politicians and ruling class. They don't care he makes ridiculous statements because it can't be any worse than how they have it now

Its been interesting to say the least but the GOP have plenty of soul searching to do, I mean fancy having potentially a real anti establishment candidate representing a party that doesn't want him but the US voters seem to love him & his policies. Crazy stuff which will probably ensure the incumbents are there for another term Imo.

President Trump scares the bejesus out of me. The guy makes claims based on his mood, and he's recommended committing ****ing war crimes against civilians in the fight against terrorism.

But I see Clinton being the next president - only because Trump will win the Republican primary & is far too a polarising figure within the GOP ranks/voters. Clinton has the Democrat (super?)delegates all wrapped up, so no deal for Sanders.

Hugely important to Australia and global financial markets. A loose cannon like trump having the nuke codes is a scary thought.
The truth is that in politics, you cant speak your mind, your words need to be carefully considered, and measured against the issues.

Funny when people say Trump has some good ideas. He has nothing.
50% of what he says is stupid stuff that will never happen (build a big wall between US and Mexico, deport all Muslims)
The other 50% is something he will say in the spur of the moment, then say the exact opposite a week later.

Trump is popular because voting is not compulsory in the US and most non-voters are likely morons. Trump epically sledges his opponents rather than focuses on consistent and considered policies. Trump speaks and acts emotively and knows how to whip up a crowd into a frenzy. Trump knows how to get all of the attention from the media.

Someone said earlier - Trump is in this for Trump. Not for the US or for the world.

Trump above all else is a salesman. Apparently a good one at that. A good salesman knows what is the best product to sell his clients. Trump is selling the mythical American Dream which is exactly what the majority of disenfranchised voters of America want to hear. Like voters everywhere Americans are sick of untrustworthy career politicians with little compassion on the issues that affect the majority of its constituents and zero motivation other than how to save their *** at the next election. Not that he'd do much better but at least he telling them what they want to hear.

The American media were way too pre occupied poking fun at his hair, arrogance, ego to take him seriously and missed the chance to put pressure on him.

In short, it appears the American public would rather a lunatic run the asylum than another career politician.

Trump seems like a lunatic, but given he has money behind him he probably isn't taking election funding in return for favors from companies/banks etc like the other candidates would be.

Some of the media footage I've seen where all the candidates are tearing shreds off each other, they all look smarmy and fake and act like clowns.

I would imagine Trump has built his empire on board room deals with companies and banks, I doubt he'll be using his own money.

The graphical data is dated, but it appears he's loaning himself a significant portion of the campaign funding. Meaning he'll pay himself back.

Ours are bad enough but this crop of for the USA take it to a lower level, you don't have three of ours standing behind lecturns openly going on the offensive with personal insults for the camera trying to gee up the crowd.

Ours are in the early stages. They're only up to the stage of having the compulsory noddy dogs stand behind them silently shaking their heads yes or no while their lips move saying 'thats right'.

But there's not enough drama, so the media isn't giving him much coverage. How can you tell the media drives the narrative? Not one person here mentioned Rubio or Kaisich. Rubio didn't mention Trump's name once last night in Idaho. No drama, no coverage.

As a Floridian I have to say Rubio doesn't impress me. I think he's too young and ambitious. I like Kasich because he seems reasonable, but I don't know much about him. I just haven't found reasons to dislike him the way I do the others.

I liked Christie until he endorsed Trump.

I would have thought Trump for sure. There comes a time when we need balls and brains combined, not just brains and good speakers. But considering people can vote against someone they dislike rather than their policies, Hilary could take the 'Torch'

Obama got plenty of his voters from Youtube campaigns and getting spammed on T.V - Oprah and Tyra Banks show. All stay-home-mums voted for a charismatic guy, with a nice smile and good voice...So I guess that crowd won't be voting for Trump.

Default US Presidential Elections - Boring or Important to Australia?

If trump gets in I'm moving back to Australia. It really scares me that people think he would be a good president. Don't get me wrong he has done a lot of great things in NYC and other charity events but as president... Holy **** I'm out!

I hope Sanders gets the gig, failing that - Trump.
Or anyone before another illuminati /skull & Bones initiated corporate owned puppet (Hil-lie-ry) leading the world to more bloodshed and chaos in the name of the fabricated war on terror.
A Sanders or Trump will be a major hurdle to the NWO.

It all matters a lot, given the commonwealth of Australia is listed as a corporation, alongside McDonalds on the US Securities Exchange Commission, we're all owned by the US Federal Reserve as commodities, including you and I via our Legal names listed on our Birth certificates, and including all the nations mineral wealth.

Uh... Currently, there's no such thing as the so-called Illuminati (who ceased to exist as such in 1791) or any New World Order. They're now simply fictional entities created by paranoid conspiracy theorists, or PCTs.

And several PCTs have claimed that Hillary Clinton is part of the alleged NWO.
When the former FBI Agent, Gary Aldrich, wrote his book, "Unlimited Access: An FBI Agent Inside The Clinton White House", he strenuously wanted to expose both the Clinton's actions which allegedly endangered US National Security. Little did he realise, when he was reporting personal observations of the Clinton's behaviour, that he was providing iron-clad proof that Bill and Hillary are, indeed, powerful Illuminist witches! [http://www.cuttingedge.org/news/n1224.cfm] I kid you not.

I note that Romley Stewart Stover (YouTube link) is obviously short of a few cents in the dollar.

Not disagreeing with you Syz but on the other hand, this quote “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist,” may also be relevant...

Trump is a clown, Hillary is 'the' devil. Both are distasteful...

End of Days?

I must say the more I read/see about Trump, he kind of reminds me of Clive Palmer. CP "talked" a big game, and touched a nerve early on being against govco, the establishment and sticking up for the little guy. But when push came to shove.....

100% the guy (both of them) as no tact or clue how to deal with people. Business is one thing govco is entirely different...you cannot run a country like a business even if your intentions are good.

Sanders is a Marxist and America was never like Europe, it cast aside all the old European ways from its founding...a good thing.

Ted cruz is the only hope they have out of the existing candidates., sadly I don't think he'll get the numbers.

Trump or Clinton...fail !!!!!!!!

He is a centrist progressive.
America should have stayed with England, at least they would have a system that works now.

European nations have parties from all across the political spectrum.
America has 2 right wing parties basically.
