Ahh No. There first payed gig was at The Warrandyte Festival in 1971. They then went on to play as the house band at Ringwood iceland for 4 months. Nice try though.

Are you 100% sure they were called Skyhooks then?
Try Googling "Skyhooks first gig". That's where I found the answer......and I thought cheating would help!

Hey BJ, did you find that program?
I'd be interested to find out who were the original band members back in 1971.

never went to the whiteHorse even though i lived in Burwood, but the Croc and Kramers were great places as long as you didn't bump into any bad bastards, and there was plenty at the Croc,
Rose Tattoo were great until Angry decided to sing pussy ballads, went from huge fan base to maybe several thousand and faded into the back ground.
coloured balls and AC/DC yeah that brings back memories especially watching AC/DC play live at the Ringwood Ice Skating Rink on weekends until they started making a bigger name for themselves and stole over $5000 worth of Band Gear from The Ringwood Ice Skateing rink.lol.never proved but everyone knew they did it.
