How did you pay for it? Paypal, direct deposit?, you should have EBay settle this as they can make (take) the money from his registered account and give the money back to you as you have not received the product that you were meant to get.

If you have a look at the EBay web site the have a dispute centre that may be able to settle this for you.

really should have chased this up a lot earlier than 4 months!

Although i know how sometimes i buy stuff on ebay and then forget about it, its always a great surprise when you get a package and you dont know what the hell it is!

Good luck anyway, i still get really anxious when buying stuff and not being able to see it.

Unfortunately E-Bay won't help you if you dealt outside of the actual auction.
This is something that is stated quite regularly, and you do so at your own risk.
Whenever I've missed out on something, and it hasn't sold. I contact the seller to see if they will re-list it.
Sorry, it's not of much help to you, but that's just the way it is....

Thanks for the heads up though, I've looked at some of his stuff every now & then, but luckily haven't tried to buy anything.

Good luck with sorting this out.

Who'd you speak to 'The Children's Crossing Dept'?

Of course they can do something, it's theft as a minimum and also fraud if he intentionally meant to do it. You might also want to explain what a territorial nexis means at law in WA to the officer you rang. Basically you bought it sitting here, paid for it sitting here, and expected for it to be delivered here. Therefore most of the crime was done in WA so they carry jurisdiction and can follow it up for you.

Sounds like you got a lazy one. You never know but this guy could be a hardcore fraudster so they sould show some interest.

The seller is a PowerSeller, meaning he generates lots of money for Ebay, meaning Ebay will do as little as they can to stop him. In fact, if you are just a regular bumb Ebayer (somebody like me), then Ebay, regardless of the truth, will always point the finger at you, because you aren't generating squillions of dirty dollars per year which Ebay can get it's grubby hands on.

It's unfair, but I hope you get your cash back

Ahh yes this is the person who makes you read a entire document before bidding on anything and yet they stiffed you?

A friend SOLD them some FPV scuff badges and actually spoke to the person when they were late on paying them for the items.

I purchased a tickford cluster off him a while back and it arrived and was perfect. I purchased a second one for a mate (outside of ebay) and it turned up but was a series one cluster with a series 2 (blue) xr face on it, he lied about it of course

As you have found out, this bloke is a complete *******, disgrace to Ebay.

I have dealt with him and I know him. And would never deal with him again. He has burnt a few guys on Fordmods as well.

Now I can caragotically tell you that this comment is a crock of ****. He was actually at Fowles Auctions in Laverton last week, stealing parts of my written off car that I was buying back. Yes I saw him. I sat next to him in my car just before some bits and pieces went missing off it.

Feel free to mention that he was seen in Melbourne last week, just don't mention my username. I have my own score to settle with him.

I must assume that some of the parts he sells he steals off wrecks at auctions.

Thanks for alerting me to this Nick.

I do know where he lives, and I'd be happy to pass on the address if you would like. He does live in Altona North, just off Millers Road (for those who know it), near Altona Gate shopping centre.

Wow this has been very interesting indeed.

Now guys this forum does not condone any non social activities here. If you have a grudge please inform someone who can help legally or spread the word on other forums about his actions. Word of mouth is the best solution.

Remember what is said on here usually sticks around on here and is accessable to anybody. Please be careful about what is said.

ive dealt with him a couple of times - mainly a couple of badges and an XG XR6 front bar to complete a front i was selling..... it definatley seems that he treats his "on ebay" customers well, while his "out of ebay" customers get absolutley shafted

Arm 79 that email you quoted was dated in March but thank you for your post. Every persons bad experiances with this seller helps stop his sales and i think it is what will hurt him most.

sorry to hear what happened mate
well what you waiting on, you have the guys phone number, address is traceable, and handful of people that have been burnt by this guy.... time for some action, i dont see any reason why the authorities can't help you, no reason as to why they shouldnt now anyways, guess today all they good for is defecting cars
if thinks dont work the rightway then, its wise to take the matter in your own hands !!!

good lucks

I'd just email him this thread via a hotlinked email.

BTW, I've succesfully dealt with many ebayers outside of ebay, it takes a bit of skill to pick which one's will do the dirty on you. I've bought well over 100 items on ebay, never been given the run around yet.

The Hong Kong sellers can be real bad though.
