I have purchased many items off e-bay with no trouble. Ie: XP Hubcaps, Bonnet Badges, XL Falcon Parts etc etc. I have never had a problem. The Missus has had a few drama's with sellers but all was sorted out in the end. Its a shame that for so many legit sellers out there, there is always a few that try to stooge people.

Money and greed tend to do that to people I suppose! Sad but true!

I hope you get it sorted out soon.

Oh and DoreSlamR I think the 105 is what we need, and agreed COD4 is the best shooter I've playing in a long time.

I'm in! I live in brisbane. Bring it on. These type of ferals need to be taught a lesson. Instead of your money back what about we get you his commodore (that should cover almost half of what he now owes you). :

Mate still no contact, I ll try Monday the 7th as that is the day lots of people start back @ work. I think I have given him plenty of time to respond.

If no luck its time for more drastic action.

Okay Finally got in touch with the man, after all the usuuall denial about not knowing anything was wrong with the Diff ( becuase he was not a mechanic.)
One of the questions I asked him prior to the diff purchase was it 28 or 31 spline , His answer was mate its 31 spline but I have some 28 spline spider gears . NO DIFF KNOWLEDGE HEY. :

He let slip I bought the diff in the same condition he bought it. broken & it was tough. :

He then said he was trying to find another hat for it. I said it was not good enough & I wanted my money back.

A lot more crap was said

After a long conversation he told me he was a bankrupt & could not pay anything back & did not own any thing ,

I said you had a nice VE commodore parked at the front of your house a few days ago

At that he freaked calling me names & I said don't bother with the names, just because I'm in WA does not mean I don't have mates & they have allready checked out your house for me .

I have given him until tomorrow to come up with a plan to pay me back .

Can some one in the area go past & get the rego number of any cars at his house.

I think that will really rattle him ?

Cheers

The internet is a big place. Eventually you'll be caught, especially when people have your address and that person has friends who are willing to help you out. Starting to get interesting

This guy is not real smart, or perhaps when you tell ties you just keep getting caught

I tripped him up so many times in his conversation today it was not funny.

When I told him about the commodore you could just about hear the cogs working in his brain, as he worked out someone had been past his house, he asked me to repeat what I said. :evil3:

That blows!!

How ironic........the feedback he left you!! He was a happy chappy!!

very good payer very good to deal with
I bought an ipod thru ebay last year from some nutter who got into someone elses ebay account and tried selling imaginary stuff!! Paypal gave me the cash back thy next day! I broke all my rules too.....sounded too good to be true. I'm very cautious who I bank transfer too.

I bought some XY engine mounts last year only to find out they were from an XD. The guy had a hard time believing me until I sent some pics back.......claimed he was broke and couldn't pay me back and told me to sell it on ebay too! Unbelieveable some people!

Just saw him sell a few grands worth of gear on ebay a few weeks later and pressed him for the cash.

Keep watching this guys dumb account and see what else he sells.

Would have been good to record his phone calls.
