Actually the worst mod of all is commodore V6's with HSV body kits and copy wheels that are 1 or two inches smaller than the original. Just horrible.

Vote on the Altezzas as the worst mod, lets get them home as the worst mod of the available options.....

I actually think that does look tacky. An XW should have XW stripes and an XY should have XY IMO :

Yep gotta say I hate fart cannons! Even if they are a performance increasing part of the exhaust (in most cases they are just a ricer mod, it's only a few cases where they are truely a perfomance part), they still look tacky on any car.

Yeah I made the very stupid mistake of putting a cannon on my VL, once upon a time.

Grown out of that now.

I voted other, because as far as I'm concerned the worst mod I could do to my Ford would be...................A H****n badge.

When it comes to aesthetic mods I hate seeing undersized mags, on old school muscle smaller wheels are cool, but like when you see an AU with cheap 15 inch 5 spokes. (No Offence just an example)

FPV badges on non-FPV cars.... Honda's red badges (Type-R) on non Type-R models (DC5 Integra Type-S excluded).

I think you'll find he meant BA stripes on BF and vice-versa. WTF would you put BF stripes on a XTGT?

If clear indicator lenses were never made for the AU (for example) and they only ever came with amber and aftermarket items were produced, then i can see your point.

As it stands the AUIII's all have clear lenses, and as you know the AU's all pretty much look the same, so why not put them on? Hardly anyone will see the difference. If clear guard flashers are what annoy you, then maybe you're being too picky.

A lot of people on here have rice phobia or something.

"ZOMG! you made your car look better! You f'ing ricer!

To me rice is something tacky, not tasteful.

Ie random Jap performance stickers all over a car with 13" chome hubcaps - rice
Club sticker or your performance shop on the rear window - not rice

To me my pet hate is big T spoilers. There are only a handful or cars that can pull it off, and VN-VS Commodores and E-series Falcome aren't part of that group.

The same goes with Cannons. A kitted 200sx suits the cannon very well, but an Echo doesn't

lol totally agree - too many echo's with cannons getting around.

Personally I don't like Chevy badges on Holdens.

The AU3's also came with the side skirts which make them easily identifyable. I agree, the clear side repeaters on the AU1 and AU2 do tend to look a little awkward, the AU3 has a much chunkier appearance and is easily recognisable. Frangipanni stickers blow dog, cannons are for people who think farting is foreplay and spinner hubcaps are just wrong on so many levels. Lowering your car to the ground so that the wheels disappear into the guard is ghey and aftermarket chrome looks really tacky. People who stick the chrome mirror scalps on their fords aftermarket look rice too; especially since it only ever came out on the LWB models after BA2. The amount of XT's I see with them is sickening. In the illustrious words of Michael Schumacher; "Honestly".

1) 16"+ diameter wheels on an XR-XB Falcon......

2) Shaker on anything other than an XYGT.

3) Bonnet bulge on anything other than a B series XR8/GT Falcon.

4) Exhaust tailpipe larger diameter than the piston diameter of the motor!!!

The worst modification that ive seen lately, is the lowering of just the rear of the car in a mexican lowrider style.
WTF are people thinking that do this, I dunno bout these pillocks but i like my car to NOT understeer in the wet.
The unit i saw yesterday had his vr bommadore raked about 40 degrees towards the rear as if he had a boot full of cement!
Its just loose action no wonder they stack em all the time :

And had a lowered courier ute come into work for a RWC the other day, had cut bumpstops, and the suspension was on them!!!
90mm off the ground this thing was, we told the female owner whos sons car it was, what the g o is with its condition, suggesting we needed to replce the rear springs, and b/stops allround to make it RWC.
She said "i'm going to kill my son"...
