I thought you were on a set run though?
I had a 14 hour book on the old scheme and the boss was talking about getting it under the new scheme aswell, it wouldnt really effect me though, except when I want to ge home a little earlier. I mainly only do Sydney now, with the occasional Adelaide thrown in for good measure. Although I think I'm doing 2 Adelaides this week and followed by a Melb-Adel-Syd-Melb the week after. |

True that.. but with 2 drivers it seems to be fine, providing that the conditions are good and you have both had a decent sleep the day / night before. Gotta have decent rest breaks aswell!!

(I did this trip...etc) Giving the impression that you did it solo nonstop and thereby leaving yourself open to attack

I did the reverse of this trip, Geelong back to Brisbane, when I bought my XD. I took the Newell, so I would recommend that. I had no company so all I had to listen to was a galloping 351 for four days. I was taking it slow, only doing about 6 hours driving each day, seeing the sights (a lot of grass and dirt). I loved it, and so will you if you like road trips.

Hey make sure you stop in at the Big Strawberry in Koonoomoo VIC for the best strawberry milkshake you'll ever have. Seriously. Man, I think it must be about time for another road trip... |

whatever you do, do not travel at nite or in the dark!
i did the trip 2 years ago. the plan was melb to surfers. got as far as tenterfield when the roo came out of nowhere. they are everywhere up there and come out of nowhere. be careful of them. i thought before i left that it wouldnt happen to me. $1500 later and got back on the road lol. stop in coonabaraban if you can plenty of hotels and such. also tenterfield has good accomodation if you go that way
