What other tracks have been laser scanned? Apparently there are none for public use at least? . Its a very interesting technology.

After reading about Oran park, it was NOT laser scanned. Laser scanning involves using a data cloud of points from various angles of the track by a laser on a tripod that scans the area in great detail. This track was gps and aerial photo based. Only some trackside objects were laser scanned. There were just 5% of the points used in this track compared to Eastern Creek with a detail of a point on the track every 2.5 metres instead of every 20cm as used by laser. Its really too bad they didnt do it better. Still great though....

Mr ghia:

Just making sure you have rFactor?... Touring car legends is an addon to that game.

I use rFModLauncher, this loads the mod you want to use, ie Touring Car legends, GTHO faclons etc..

I think you'll find it was more accurate than 2.5 metres, have a read of this

You need to extract the files to rFactor. If your double clicking on the mod and your getthing the choose a program screen that means you don't have any software capable of extracting those file types.

I'd suggest 7-Zip

Did you put the folders into the proper ones in rFactor?

Unfortunately, rFactor isn't the most friendly game for new people to get working
