Wtf? Yeah that looks like no ordinary or 75km impact. Would be interesting to know how you can manage to damage a car like that though.

Mate, do you not read other posts?

It has already been explained that his daily trek was 75kms, the SPEED he was doing (allegedly) was the posted 110km/h.

This guy is very, very, very lucky to have survived this. The small amount of injuries in itself is astounding, and a testimony to what modern cars can withstand.

I'll bet a car from the 70's or even 90's wouldn't have stood up as well to that punishment

Yup, definitely undeployed airbag warning tape.....

Why they stuck some on the rear wheel though I'm not sure......

Worst then me getting T-boned in my F6. I thought I done pretty good walking out of it after being hit at estimated 80kph.

It was his lucky day... Thanks to his Guardian Angel.

RIP - XR6-Turbo.

That is definately FUBAR that car. He's very lucky. The drivers side seems to be resonably intact but the passenger side doesn't look so hot- especially the roof.

Good to see a reminder of what can happen to a car even if you are driving within the speed limits...far too many people have been sucked into the lie that if you stay below the speed limit, any crash will be minor and quite safe. Most uninformed people would look at that wreck and immediately, and wrongly, say "Oh, he musthave been speeding...".

yes, when you see how easy folded sheet metal caves in when you hit something solid it does make you think.
