Hopefully its better then the previous model. Which was really ordinary. But highest towing capacity would ***** a few ears up.
Mind you the rest of these types of utes aren't really nice to drive.

One thing to remember with the Ranger is that they are already selling all they can get right now. So it probably doesnt make sense to use up the ad budget on ranger until they need to.

Yeah, I'm thinking this too. I've not wanted to admit it, but I really think this is what's been going on.

Talk about the mother of all tanking jobs!

....... and so? Calling the pot back? There are crap loads of people on these pages who bag out so many brands, including what ever Ford produces without even test driving them ..... so Hypocrisy at its finest for sure but coming from so many sides including yourself and others especially a few posts above.

I am sure the results will be up on the site soon and seeing this is a discussion on figures that are not even released yet we can take a break so those above can take a breath and prepare themselves so they can have absolute great delight in the low figures that may or may not be prevalent.

I've noticed Falcon lacking at a dealership too in the Mid North Coast. No Falcon's what so ever for a month or so, but really with LPi and Ecoboost failing, I honestly can't see Falcon surviving until 2016 even with a facelift. There's no advertising ANYWHERE!!!! and Ford isn't doing anything about it!!!

Yep. Full page ad from Ford in yesterday's Adelaide Advertiser has all models featured EXCEPT Falcon. Says it all right there.

Fair enough. Ford manufacturing jobs aren't the only ones trying to make a living.

I'm sure Hyundai are more than willing to supply product if Ford can't get their act together because of 'supply issues', or the Olympics, or Cadel Evans not winning the Tour de France or <insert here Ford's next excuse>.

Lets be more realistic and start with Great Wall. And I doubt this will be a joke at the current rate by the end of the year.

Ford really need to adjust Kuga pricing... They are missing a large amount of market share!!!

Yes and its not surprise... fleets love them... They are guaranteed a residual value at the end on most, minus Camry and Aurion... The QLD police department just bought another few hundred Aurions... The poor old Falcon has been forgotten, I have not seen an FG2 Falcon XT police car in QLD :( They only Fords they buy are XR6 Turbos.

It is a shame that the second car market does not understand that the "Good resale" of the toyotas only lasts for the first resale ! After that almost all cars are equal.

Nice to see the Falcon outsell the Mazda6 and Maxima combined. Im pretty sure it will take out the Aurion in that total as well.

So people dont like buying large cars?! Garbage, there is a market for them...but whether its profitable is another thing.

Damn high AUD!

Its $10k over priced...same as all the Ford Euro cars are over priced...Mondeo Titanium should be around $37k drive away then haggle price down..Focus Titanium rrp is waaaay over price..$38k is too expensive before the haggling starts..my opinion

Walked into a QLD country dealership tday to sit in Fiesta/Focus.
Cars on lot
Falcon ECOLPI $36500
Falcon G6 Limted ed $34500
4/5 Fiestas, 3 Focuses
1 Focus was a 2011 (unsold-new) Titanium diesel at $34000
All prices drive away.

The Falcons looked beautiful! Leather seats, likeable styling, sales rep says there is little awareness of these 2 models in the marketplace
---what everybody has been saying-no advertising.
What is wrong with Ford these are 2 great cars (Ecoboost/ECOLPI) .......advertise!!!!!
