The Bylong Valley is a tremendous drive to bathurst. We took the ESP through there last year & it's a great road for a V8 manual drive. Some great pubs along the way also starting at Sandy Hollow & always at Rylestone. We came home from Bathurst that way & the hairpin asagaai is talking about was log jammed with a semi trailer getting it all wrong. It is that tight & when he didn't get his entry angle right, he physically could not get around the 25 km/h bend. He had to reverse it up & swing her way out wide just to make it!
Makes the Putty Road feel like a free way

Sorry about delay in reply, been a hell week, and finally escaped the buttkicking I have been copping the last few days.
In answer to your question, yeah- I did. Big crowds, I prefer it a little more quiet. But I have never been and had to go to at least one V8 supercar Bathurst. I am tempted to go to the Bathurst 12 hour in February as I like the idea of less crowds, and a larger variety of different cars with different engineering/sounds etc. Anybody in Newcastle with a Miami GT/FGX fancy doing a joint drive via Bylong??? Or anyone in Sydney wanting to do a loop via Bylong, welcome as well. If so send me a pm etc.
