:, no need, my mate beet the absolute crap out of him once he won't dare touch me or anyone else who him. Simple reason, he went up to his car with a baseball bat and started smacking in all of the panels, the guy is a morone. Anyway long story short, he was sent to hospital by my mate and my mate was served with a 5 year bond since it was his first time he committed an offence.

Nah i would never go upto just anyone and just say something like that. It's because i know this morone. Usually if i stop at the lights and someone is abusing me, i stare blankly and let them rant and rave. I give the finger when someone is tailing me or, i'll just slow down to really get on their nerves and then spped up again when they change :Reverend:.

My stories kinda like Big Mike's. Was about 2-3am just driving home from pool on the Highway, there was about 4-5 commodores (with 1 ford) racing each other, and watching them overtake another car (not with them) and swirving everywhere was scary =X. Then I was in the middle lane, another car in the left lane this car comes from the left lane, indicates once then swirves really fast into the middle (in front of me), it seems alright but the distance between me and the left lane car was really small, needless to say I slammed on the brakes =X

I really hoped I would see that car wrapped around a tree somewhere. Should be more cops patrolling those area's =X makes it scary for other motorists to drive there.

Well this has sort of been an entertaining read...

I have forgetton what road rage is all about - I rarely drive the car now (maybe once a month) - on a bike people seem to just ignore whatever you do (no matter what) - sort of a case of "If you stay away from me I'll stay away from you" or maybe a case of "don't want to mess with the big bad biker" (far from the truth). It is an intersting phenomenon - perhaps I'll write a thesis on it one day.

Hopping back into a car for the first time in a few months yesterday and two incidents of road rage directed at me (keeping in mind the car i was driving is my fiances old Corolla - seems small cars attract the most rage). First time I was at a merging lane, light went green I took off and got in front of an SS commodore (safely) - he didnt take to kindly to that and started tailgaiting flashing his lights ect (FFS) - some people just can't handle people getting in front of them, build a bridge.

Second time some moron cut in front of me so I gave him a polite beep of the horn. Next set of lights out jumps the hero, jumping up and down at my window, frothing at the mouth screaming he wants to fight me - WTF? I just drove off (tried to run over his foot but missed - oh well).

I'm going to stick with bikes for the moment until the day I buy a big black mean GT with tinted windows so no-one can see me. That shoudl do the trick.

EDIT - has anyone else noticed that if you hop from your big car (eg a Falcon) into a small car (eg corolla) the rage index increases proportionally not in your favour.?

When they are jumping up and down at the window reach out and grab and pull them into the car - one hand full of hair and one arm them and start to drive - they squeel like a little girl then : :evil_laug

Call the police indeed.

I doubt they would do much but we can only try.

I dont beep horn or yell if I can help it as this (as we all know) makes things worse often. I just sit and realise more each day how stupid the average person is. I laugh to myself and think how intelligent I am compared to the other people on the road. lol

Bad taste in hair cuts, bad taste in cars," Loser said WHAT??? We have hair, we have it groomed, and this is a REAL car, regardless of brand its a classic and a hot one at that. Pss off buddy. With ya ty skin heads and ty singlet tops. Ya couldn't get in a club if ya wanted to. Which begs another question, what are these ferals doing driving around at 4am on a Sun'd morning besides armed holdups and looking for a fight???
I'm a skinhead and I have several skinhead mates. Quite often we'll cruise around late at night. We wear singlets, flannie's and big fly jackets. That doesn't mean we're out to cause trouble.

Occassionally we'll be picking up mates from a club or somewhere for a lift home. Sometimes we'll be going home from a mates place or something. Or sometimes we'll just be out cruising around because although it's late, it's a nice night and we're all car nuts who enjoy driving around.

Just because someone shaves their head and drives around at 4am, that doesn't mean they're all on their way to 7eleven carrying 12 guages.

My lack of tolerance for people and my openess towards people who I have no interest in knowing often leads to people labelling me as some racist, stereotypical skinhead. I shave my head, that doesn't affect anything but my ability to tell when it's starting to rain before anyone else around me.

So the dickheads in this commodore were ****ers, but here you are judging people purely on how they cut their hair and the time at which they are out on the road. I don't take offence to that directly, but I will say that I believe you to be wrong to make the claim you made.

I've copped some crap for shaving my head and driving around in a 70's Ford while listening to old school rock and metal instead of fitting in with the rest of my mates who drive commodores, listen to rap and whatnot and spend an hour infront of the mirror gelling and tipping their hair to look as presentable as their freshly ironed pink . As a result, I quite like to speak up about it.

Tell me, Big Mike, you're not one of those tossers who gel and tip their hair and dress up in pink shirts, are you? :ymca: :

drivin trucks around the perth metro area everyday, i see alot of road rage, and 99% of it is not nesessary. when ppl come past me yelling and screeming abuse, i dont stoop down to their level, i just look at them and wave politely : even though my truck has signwriting all over it whats the worst they can do, ring up my boss or the cops for waving at them - it's great it really gets them rilled up : : :

No I'm not one of those tossers and I don't stoop to any 'other' level in order to fit in either; in fact I often feel like I don't fit in, but I guess we're all entitled to our insecurities, yeah? OK I know its not fair to stereotypify, but as I'm sure you are aware there are lots of boneheads around who drive nasty cars, shave their heads "to look cool", and go around causing trouble. Sadly, the guys who go over-the-top preparing their image don't generally seem as likely to be standing behind you in an alley with a bazooka or accusing you of looking at them or someone they knew once in an inappropriate manner.
When people say - "Hey I'm not a Ford fan, but you've got that thing looking nice" I appreciate that. People who go on about their night and ignore me I really appreciate that too. People who go out of their way to insult me, my appearance, my choice of car, etc., is just plain wrong. And sorry if this time these losers happened to be skin heads; but as I'm sure you know, there's lots of "tuff-boy" try-hards who shave their heads, although I know for a fact they aren't all baddies - as I have mates who shave too.
Woz I'm certainly not having a go at you, but the guys I ran into - or more to the point THE GUYS THAT MADE THEMSELVES NOTICED TO US, were ferals and lowlifes, and coincidentally also happened to shave their heads, drive a commodore, and try very hard to intimidate or start a fight with us innocent guys minding our business, for the sake of what? Gain, fun, what? Everywhere you look someone is giving someone a bad name. These ferals and heaps like them MAKE IT EASY to be cautious or weary of people who choose to shave their heads or to do stupid things. A few silly blondes makes it easy to joke about blonde girls, a few stupid muslim extremests make it easy to hate/fear specific ethnic groups; and even a few drunk and offensively extroverted homosexuals can make it easy to think twice about the striaght guys who are just a bit too vain or pretty, I'm sure ya'll get the idea. Even though its wrong to judge, its also wrong to blow stuff up or go looking for a fight. And if you don't like my car, there's an arena to tell me about it if I've asked for opinion or posted photos, and there's just driving down the road after plenty of chears and whistles in town and have some bozo sharing his unrequested opinions from his beat-up smokey car.
I'm not trying to offend anybody, nor am I trying to backpedal. And I'm going to refrain from bringing up your (good-IMO) choice of cars Woz and compare it to guys who do up commodores - the automotive equivelant of pollishing a turd (IMO). What I will point out is that someone driving a rubbish car, regardless of brand or age, who displays no social ettiquette or respect for his fellow man, HAS NO RIGHT to hurl insults and abuse with intent to fight, any more than any other person, of any class, education, race, fashion or automotive prefferance.

So after all this, and I have had a few bevvies tonight, I hope to have got accross that while these particular morons I reffered to happen to be skin heads, thus the comment "skin-head morons" I am aware not all skin-heads are morons, and certainly not all well-groomed guys are gentleman either. I am aware of this; I'm sure you're aware of the reputation and instant impression a shaven head can make, especially if backed up with some attitude or language, thus I apologise if anyone was offended but I really was specifically reffering to those particular out-of-line and out-of-touch individuals who chose to stick their beaks were they weren't invited purely in an attempt to arouse some kind of reaction from us minding our own business. Perhaps so they could feel powerfull or important by effecting someone else's night and perhaps lacking the skills, confidence, or savvy to have a positive effect on anyone's night? I'm not sure - but like I said earlier, we all have our little insecurities.

Road rage eh....

The only one's I could think of:

About 10 years ago, my uncle got cut off by someone right infront of red lights, my uncle picked up a crowbar out behind his seat and tapped it against his palm(hand) at the same time walking towards the car that cut him off. The guy sped through a red light...

And the occasion impatients of my old man, he tends to swear his head off if someone takes too long for someone to start moving, and someone who might cut him off.... - most of the times when the window is up so he can let the pressue out! :P

Talking about trucks and road rage, did anyone who sent to wagga last week end see the road rage between a 4wd and a B-dub on the road out to narandera (After the show). i was following and the 4wd and it tried to cut in on the inside lane of one of the 2 lane roundabout and got it's front corner panel taken out because the trailers cut across (as they always do). i turned off to go to albury, but the last thing i seen was the 4wd flashing it's lights voilently and trying to pull over this truck. im not certian but i think Zetec was there too?

I have to surrender my right to drive what I please lest I may get my head smacked in? Yet people who own Holden-badged cars can drive around with baseball bats and crowbars and somehow don't get their heads smacked in? I ask you - where is the justice people, WHERE???

But seriously, it worries me that some of the posts in this thread pertain to carrying a bigger baseball bat or crowbar than the other guy, just in case something happens. Bogan, who happens to drive commodore, shave head, wear torn singlets, and thinks its cool to pretend he's black, just might jump out of his car and go me with a weapon, so I'd better make sure I have a bigger weapon. Thank you Saddam Hussein and George Bush, each with bigger and bigger weapons lest the other might too. WW3 at the traffic lights.

As for the 4x4 vs B-dub; obviously the 4x4 was a dik to drive up the inside of a truck, those "Do not overtake turning vehicle" signs are actually law, not just a helpful reminder. However, was he chasing the truck to kill him Falconio style, or was he trying to stop him for insurance purposes? I believe even though there'd be no damamge to the truck the insurance company needs the other parties' details or you cop the full excess, etc., ??

And while I could sell up and drive yet another white commodore and mix into the crowd; I'd save a lot of time, effort, energy, etc., but as your Title suggests Falcon Coupe I'd imagine you're familliar with all the positive attention also - it often more than making up for it overall. Just a few jealous f-wit bogans can really spoil the night - especially if I'd given them a piece of my mind and they subsequently spread my mind over the road with a 12-guage like pudding in a blender...

LOL, What a moron the 4wd owner is. You wouldn't wanna stuff with truck drivers they have that many tools (ie big iron bar) than you can poke a stick al. Either way it sounds like the 4wd drivers fault. Trucks are allowed to cut the line if there longer than 7.5 metres and it's illegal to get in their way.

On the news tonight...three men aged about 19,20,21....charged with murder following a road rage incident in S.A.

If the other victim dies then its a double murder charge...he from what I can gather is fighting for his life in ICU.

The offenders were arrested at gunpoint some refusing to come out of their house.

Now I ask this in all seriousness...."What the bloody hell is happening to this country why is there so much crime especially the road rage stuff?"

What has happened to common courtesy and decency?

It's gone down hill badly. The other day on the way to school, i was standing while all these international students and some locals where sitting down. Old lady jumps on who can barely walk, and no one offers her their seat. This country is starting to fill up with a lot of disgraceful people who don't really care about anyone else, but only themselves. We pretty much are living in a war zone.
