I don’t think there’s anything sinister here, it’s just a little bit of light hearted humour. I’m sure that 99% of AFF members would assist a stranded police vehicle along with any other vehicle for that matter. For example, I think you would get a far more hostile response if we saw a Porsche Cayenne bogged, and yes I’ve also come to the aid of a stranded police vehicle. It would be a far different story if the same Monaro was wrapped around a tree trying to catch some scumbag.

I think a few people need to lighten up a little, after all if you can’t laugh at yourself, everyone else will.

Cheers, Danny

i totally agree full noise

i honestly dont find it funny cause its the police

but im def laughing at the holden/bogged part of this story though
i reckon i would come to the assistance of someone broken down as i'd expect the same treatment in return i guess.

i did last night actually i towed a ford home with my 4wd
i've turned it into a ambulance for ambo's
so i do my fair share of helping out,i know how it feels to feel stranded..
pics are hella funny though :

Why? Personally I don't give a rats who drives what or what it costs, I do care how they behave on the road - regardless of what they drive.

What you or anyone else spends on your own car, as private property, is absolutely no business of mine and I'd stop to assist be it a Lambo or 1993 Barina bearing two obese women regardless.

If its an AWD and bogged, I'd still help, stuff happens!
.

Yup! And so it goes...

I posted it because it is FUNNY and its a HOLDEN not because its the cops. The problem these days is, no one has a sense of humour. Recent survey in england showed people are laughing, 44% less than 5 years ago. So,lighten up !!

Emergency services are human, as a matter of fact one of our ambulances was bogged 2 days ago (not by me). It is funny to see a holden bogged, any bad luck that does not cause injury or permanent damage on a holden is funny. I agree there are a few people amongst us that need to take a happy pill (figuratively speaking, I don't endorse drug use)
